Finally we got around to getting ready for some adventure windsurfing, flying around and exploring with windsurf gear and landing in new spots.

Pilot/engineer/aircraft-builder just started doing a prototype for a "roof" rack under the plane. We should be doing the first flights with windsurf gear in the next weeks Smile here are some more pics of the plane, mtb and more. https://www.instagram.com/stol_iceland/

Rexi is good at freestyle: that is a big fin for that board.

mast and two-three sails should fit inside the storage room inside the plane.

Top of wing, port or starboard , bungee cord ( stretchy with hooks at each end)

Around the wing, no need to make mounts ,its a JP .

Looks like a horrible and dangerous idea.

Has this been done before? I wouldn't want to mess with the aerodynamics and effect on stability.

We all know what boards on roof racks do to mileage. How are you going to account for extra fuel consumption?

Ever try to carry that board in 30 kts in your hands? Now up it to 150 and deal with the square function of force and wind speed.

Would you really want to fly in that plane, knowing the effect of one little weed on your fin?

Based on almost 20 years of flying I'd have no problem with externally loaded boards or bikes. So long as the center of gravity is within limits and the load is secure there really isn't anything to it.
