Anyone know status of the Wishram fire and if it is impacting access to or air quality at the Wall as of Friday 8/3? |

Hi Bonehead,
I was The Wall the last 2 days for up and down 4.2 sailing at times and good swell when it was windy.
The first day the overall winds within a 30-mile radius of the Wall was more WSW and since the closest fire was NW of the wall the smoke was blown away from the Wall.
Yesterday the closest fire was to the SW but most of the time the winds at the Wall were more W to WNW so once again the wind blew the smoke away from The Wall but we could clearly see it to the south.
Today, despite what the sensors say, the overall wind in the area is more W to WNW so unless a new fire starts the smoke should be minimal. But expect up and down winds at The Wall mostly on the OR. side.

No smoke. A little holey but not bad. |
