Is it a coincidence that carbon, oxygen, hydrogen and nitrogen make up about 95% of our bodies and about 95% of the universe? There wouldn't be life without exploding stars. The particles and elements from those explosions can be traced to our bodies. Major Tom - That's actually pretty funny Matty. |

Riddle me this. Why was the Area around the pyramids of Giza in Egypt once a fertile and green valley, but now a desert?
The pyramids weren't built in the desert. Impossible. But a few thousand years ago, the area was forested.
The Sahara desert was once a tropical jungle. As little as 6,000 years ago, the vast Sahara Desertwas covered in grassland that received plenty of rainfall, but shifts in the world's weather patterns abruptly transformed the vegetated region into some of the driest land on Earth. |

Anthropology, a form of science based on physical evidence from the past, not based on a computer's prediction of the future. |

This is an undisputed fact. NW is correct. Much scientific research has been done in the area of Egyptology, Anthropology, and just plain logic. You could never have an advanced civilization thriving in the barren desert.
Rethink your religion dude. |

Shocking. Bard quoted--out of context--a credible source. It is: https://www.livescience.com/4180-sahara-desert-lush-populated.html
No apparent analytical function at work. But perhaps he doesn't know that this period 12,000 years ago was nearing the end of the rapid changes that occurred with the end of the last ice age. Perhaps that is an explanation. Of course, the idea that this means climate change is not happening now because of CO2 is absurd.
Just a little trolling for those of you who rant about the Green New Deal without any comprehension, here is this afternoon's Morning Consult:
• Quote: | BP PLC's annual energy outlook analyzed a scenario in which wind, solar and other renewable resources, along with natural gas, would constitute 85 percent of global energy growth up to 2040, which BP Chief Executive Bob Dudley said shows "how the dual challenge of more energy with fewer emissions is framing the future." The projection is one of six laid out in the report, and BP did not say which is most likely to play out. (The Wall Street Journal)

No, it’s all explainable by your “dumb luck” theory. _________________ The universe is made up of proton, neutrons, electrons, and morons. |

Wow! You've just changed the history of the world! Brilliant. Climate change 12,0000 years ago too? But today it's not the sun, it's you Mac. |

No surprise that Bard doesn't know the difference, or care to find out. |

Forest in the Sahara? Who would have thought such a thing. How could they ever determine that? I mean it’s not like anyone was there to measure anything? I wonder who the smart people to figure that out?
It wouldn’t be these climatologist type people would it?
It wouldn’t have come from these studies now would it?
How dumb are you guys?
