It wouldn’t be these climatologist type people would it?
It wouldn’t have come from these studies now would it?

LOL. Bluefish. You're playing to an audience that has absolutely no understanding of sarcasm and even less of an understanding of chaos theory and probability.
But, it's funny how you wind these guys up. |

Bard, how did Cecil B. DeMille get it so wrong in the "Ten Commandments"?
It's hard to believe that Charlton Heston, as Moses, was so easily duped into acting everything out in the desert. |

Thanks CB. It’s tiresome explaining all this science stuff. I should probably take a break. Maybe take some executive time. I’ve got this great new golf simulator I need to try and some porn stars to pay. |

Do you, in your wildest dreams think that the pyramids were built in the desert? 1st off, scientists have proven that there were rain forests at that time. But even if you doubt their work, how could they build those huge structures without a healthy plant based environment nearby? |

Confusing stuff from MalibuG. The Sahara was once less dry, mac's link describes that well, and according to the same science, when the pharaohs were around it was back to desert, "the end of the rains and return of desert conditions throughout the Sahara after 5,500 [years ago] coincides with population return to the Nile Valley and the beginning of pharaonic society". Seems unlike the stuff that Republicans would be expected to lie about.
So where is this idea coming from that a desert would have made it impossible to build the pyramids, "without a healthy plant based environment nearby"? After all, the Nile is just a few miles away from the Giza pyramids or the Valley of the kings.
Aside, I can't read "Riddle me this" followed by some smarty statement without thinking of the great Jon Stewart daily show on warming (the Riddle is at 4:50 min but the clip also has Texas (R) Rep. Steve Stockman's take on global wobbling). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPgZfhnCAdI |

Deserts have been unpopulated since the dawn of man, BECAUSE THERE IS NO FOOD THERE. |
