Pretty soon the only places left to sail in the northern Bay area will be Crissy and Coyote. Stick is being erased as we speak, and 25,000 residents at TI will make the already impossible traffic completely impassable.

I must say: the development model going on in the Bay is rather disgusting. Our grandfathers and grandmothers left Golden Gate Park, Presidio, and an archipelago of parks through out the Peninsula. You can be sure that none would be left today.

Out of control radical libertarian ... despite 70% democratic vote ...

Um, this is classic big government SF grabbing more money because somehow $11 Billion a year is not enough to run a city of 800,00 people. You would think for that sum, we would have great schools and my street would be paved more than once every 50 years.

If you show up at 4:50 am, and wait for the wind to come up, no Toll.. Problem solved.

The problem is that local governments relies on heavily regressive taxes. Like Bridge tolls, or retail taxes. At the same time the BIG money (trillion dollars operations such as Facebook or Huber, the Silico-libertarian-industry, and real estate) goes under-taxed, when not tax-free. They build billion dollars developments (China Basin, Stick, Brisbane, Treasure Island) and leave us with a degraded environment and the price tag.

WHAT? That's a bit biased. There's always Emeryville "Eville" Marina.

Because we are complacent human beings, there's not enough rioting. Let's bring back the $1 toll!

I meant from San Francisco, without crossing the bridges. Bridges that are now pretty much impossible to navigate due to the traffic unless you go sailing deep into the night Shocked

And Coyote from San Francisco might became a question mark. It used to take 35-40' to get there from Ocean Beach. Now it is around 50 on the way in and 60-90' on the way back.

There is Larkspur, although you have to take the GG back ... good luck.

I've hit the North Tower a bunch this season, a trip to the Gorge/OR Coast but that's about it....
