He's praising Trump for not backing down, a good leadership trait. Another good leadership trait is standing up for what you believe in, which is what Ben Sasse and Jeff Flake are doing as we type....
The turtle doesn't have the votes...he was trembling with nervousness in front of the press...

And those two clowns have been the biggest Trump haters in the GOP. No surprise.......I hope their costituents give them hell for lying to them, just like that little shitbag McCain...

I'm pretty sure they have the votes at the moment. Turtle man is a nomination wiz....I think he's at 28 now for trump.....

Funny thing is Flake actually did the GOP a huge favor. If this was push through last week without the FBI investigation the left would have never shut the fuck up....even though they still will never shut the fuck up. Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

I like Ben Sasse.. He's not a bought and paid for politician, probably shouldn't be in the Senate. He's the antithesis to Graham, and McConnell.

In regards to votes, I dont think Kav would be grovelling and whining in the Journal if he had the votes...we will see..

It wouldn't be beyond the Senators to deep six Kavenaugh if they felt it would help them retain control of the Senate

It'll be interesting to see if Republicans or Democrats will benefit from the Kav confirmation.

Maybe, in view of right extremism on his court, Roberts will adopt more liberal positions, like Stevens did.

I'm sending contributions to both McMurkowski and Heitkamp (If I can figure out how to spell their names).

I don't agree with either one all the time. But, I thought that both have risked political capital with their votes. Regardless, of our take on their politics, or how we feel about the Kavanaugh issue, both these women represent what should be more common in our government.

So you want more voting "present" (Murkowski) in the government?
You may as well be pouring your money down a garbage disposal.

Yep. She chickened out. Glad I couldn't figure out how to spell her name. I'll save my contributions to whoever runs against Corey Gardner since he doesn't represent Colorado very well.
