For anyone who cares. Today 10/24/18 was my last day windsurfing on the pond. Its not water so much as its the wind is over. I sailed 5.8 last Friday for a short session. The sailing area is pretty small and its a bit of a hike to launch. I am surprised we sailed this long. Two of us are still foiling in the lite winds staying way up wind near the point. One of us rips it and one of us is trying, and making progress. I'm the one trying. NOAA and the local weather guys are calling for 114% of normal rain fall. If that comes true, we should be close to full or at least a large sailing area again. Pray for rain. I'll post when we start getting in flow and keep tabs on it looks. All in all a much better season then anyone thought. Come back and sail with us next year..Tony |
