Matty, I prefer actually having the President do his job. And a comprehensive immigration plan is attainable , but it requires smarts, ability to compromise, and a ton of hard work, arm twisting, and being a politician. Trump has zero ability to do any of the above, so he takes the authoritarian route, and the minions go wild.

Mac,

You dodged the questions:
Quote:
If congress could change the law in the next month so that only those crossing the border legally could claim asylum, would you support that?

Quote:
If all illegals are granted a path to citizenship in the future, what will that mean to those considering entering illegally and how will that impact future border security?

Boggs,

Maybe Trump's plan isn't up to the "comprehensive" standards of the left, but the left should be bitching about the non job that Obama did, or Bush, or Clinton. Even if Trump had a great, comprehensive plan, the left would still complain and stonewall.

If by some chance, the left takes over the house, senate and president in 2020, do you think they would come up with the "comprehensive" plan you suggest, or kick the can down the road?

Techno...look at Mac's post...Let's get real here , ok? Obama did have a plan! It got 67 votes in the Senate, but it didn't go to the floor because of the Tea Party. It would be law right now if not for 20 Republican House Members..
Trump does not want an immigration plan for the U.S. , he would rather the issue stays hot, in order to hold his base together...

Cute!!! I'm trying to remember you being so outraged when jump shot was doing the same..

Trump has been begging Congress to act since the day he took office. If we had a real speaker of the house and not that twit Ryan it would be done by now. Sadly now that the dems have taken the house nothing will happen because we all know dems have zero interest in border control...

Meanwhile Trumps polls numbers are doing great despite the lies being fed to fools..

Matty, you're 0 for 2 this morning , nice work.
The Dems did vote on a comprehensive plan which contained BILLIONS for border control. The Tea party killed it, do a little homework please.
Secondly Trump is at 43.6% , if you think that's "great", we can just disagree on that math.

And what was Obama's plan? Did it do anything to stem, control, stop or manage illegal immigration?

All the things that Trump as done, or tried to do has been to stop, limit, discourage or control illegal immigration. What to do with the illegals that are already here is another issue.

There is pretty big hypocrisy going on with the left over this.
Lets assume that the border was being controlled by the desires of the left, ie. letting the masses get their way, who would that hurt the most?
Mostly the young in the black community trying to enter the work force, and the black community is waking up to this.
So who is more important to the left, the non-citizens wanting in, or the citizens of the black community?

And in light of all this, the left likes to call the right nothing but a bunch of racists over this issue. HA! What a shitload of crap!

NW...can you translate your diatribe with a modicum of intelligence, and re-post it so someone could respond, if that's your intent?
