But it didn't ship with a vent screw at all. Grade "B" board and it's pretty rough. Repacked in what appears to be the original factory packaging. Still sandy from the beach in Brazil.

Don't throw away the packaging material yet. Look through all the bubble wrap and tape form the inside. Chances are the vent screw was included and is taped to the foot straps, fin or scrap piece of cardboard. Look through everything and you may find it. When new boards ship - they do the same thing and caution you to look through everything to locate the vent screw.

Might also be taped in the mast base slot. Have a look there.
If you do have to buy another, don't forget the rubber o-ring.

It was velcro'd inside one of the foot straps! As worn as they are; some people might have not even used them and used other straps instead.

How is the grip? How much wear on footstraps?
Report after you get to try it please.

They function; they just look well worn:

That does not look like a "B" grade board. Glad you found the vent screw!

Thanks for sharing your experience. So long as grip is good and there are no soft spots then the board should serve you well for a while. Enjoy!
