Airplane travel with foils

Any suggestion for travelling on airlines with foils without getting charged as sport equipment?
I was thinking golf travel bag or guitar bag.
Any other suggestions?

I ended up using a gun case with the sum of all three dimensions of 62 inches (limit for oversize charge).

With creative cutting of the foam I managed to fit a SB Race kit plus Millennium wing and 95 cm fuse.
