Curious now, how did you repair it |
1×1/2" 6oz patch covered by a 3×3" 6oz patch then filled the weave with 3m acrylic putty, faired/refilled. Now onto a paint and regrip.
Or I might just do EVA. Haven't decided.
Feels very solid keeping in mind I started with a polyurethane injection. A few single injection sites were simply covered with thickened epoxy.

Oh, yea I forgot that you injected Gorilla glue, then 6oz, something, then a finish putty.
Feels solid, does it

Feels just like the rest of the deck, so about right but not the rock hard yet brittle feeling of epoxy injection.
There was clearly a well defined soft spot before and it was right on top of that "factory" ding. Not a generalized soft spot you'd get from jumping the heck out of it.

| I had a late 80's Equipe that I had damaged the fin box. During the repair process I found that the last 2ft of the board under the plastic skin revealed that the fibre glass cloth had no resin in it. I mixed up a batch of WEST and installed a Tuttle fin box. I sailed the board for another 10yrs and passed it along to another new sailor.

One of my slalom boards had a large-scale delamination at the bottom - it sounded like a huge drum every time it hit a wave. Opening it up showed that there was very little epoxy connecting the sandwich to the core - the sandwich separated cleanly over several square feet.
The amazing thing is that I got 115 sessions on the board before the delamination. I bought it third-hand, but judging by the shape it was in when I bought it, the first two owners had at most a few dozen sessions combined.

My car has a month and year, no date.
Try going into Best Buy for a TV and them them you want one made on any day but Monday or Friday.
Wonder what happens on a house that will take months to complete

Worked for two contractors for a handful of years.
Add alcohol, wild weekends, g/f - wife problems..and associated kids...
