Why do you need a wind speed for windward/leeward course? Slalom board is not designed for windward/leeward course. Heck, a windsup would beat a slalom board windward/leeward in 8g12.

Because it seems a lot of people here want to compare apples and oranges.
Foiling is slower on a beam reach 90% of the time, no argument here.
Foiling has better angles than any other gear in almost any conditions it can fly. Even slow freeride foils absolutely truck up wind and down all while barely powered.

It seems some people feel like they need to justify why they dislike foiling as though other people enjoying it somehow challenges them personally.
If you've got wind and want to go fast ride a slalom board, no argument from me.
