The tin foil hats claim that Trump was just joking:
Quote: | BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Donald Trump said Sunday that the protester who interrupted his rally at a convention center here on Saturday morning was “so obnoxious and so loud” that “maybe he should have been roughed up.”
[Trump defends bogus Muslim claim and rough treatment of black protesters]
Mercutio Southall Jr. — a well-known local activist who has been repeatedly arrested while fighting what he says is unfair treatment of blacks — interrupted Trump’s rally and could be heard shouting, “Black lives matter!” A fight broke out, prompting Trump to briefly halt his remarks and demand the removal of Southall.
“Get him the hell out of here, will you, please?” Trump said on Saturday morning. “Get him out of here. Throw him out!”
At one point, Southall fell to the ground and was surrounded by several white men who appeared to be kicking and punching him, according to video captured by CNN. A Washington Post reporter in the crowd watched as one of the men put his hands on Southall’s neck and heard a female onlooker repeatedly shout: “Don’t choke him!”

Strictly a coincidence that he was black?
Isolated incident?

Reporting from BOCA RATON, Fla. — When Donald Trump said Sunday that he might pay the legal fees of a man charged with hitting a protester in the face at one of his rallies, it was the latest of many occasions when the leading Republican candidate for president appeared to condone or accept violence by supporters.
Heckling at rallies is a staple of all presidential campaigns, and the New York billionaire attracts more than average. For both Democrats and Republicans, it’s routine to urge unruly crowds to remain peaceful, as Trump often does.
But Trump alone has openly endorsed violent retaliation against people who disrupt his rallies, many of whom accuse him of racism.

Hee is a right winger that finally got it...
Quote: | Former short-lived White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci said Monday that President Trump is “giving people a license to hate” and called on Republicans to consider replacing him on the top of the ticket next year.
“How are we all tolerating this?” Scaramucci said during an interview on CNN. “The rhetoric is so charged and so divisive that we all have to just take a step back now and say, ‘What are we doing actually?’”
In an interview with The Washington Post later Monday, Scaramucci said he wanted to recruit other former Trump aides and prominent Republicans to come forward with critical opinions of the president — views he said that many had shared with him privately. |

Federal budget deficit by year:
08 - 458 billion
09 - 1.4 trillion
10 - 1.3 trillion
11 - 1.3 trillion
12 - 1 trillion
13 - 679 billion
14 - 648 billion
15 - 563 billion
16 - 531 billion
17 - 457 billion
18 - 413 billion
19 - 502 billion
Out of control? Nothing new. I don't like the deficit either, and both spending and taxes need to be addressed. It won't be a serious issue in my lifetime, but the ship will sink at some point.
