Just curious as to how the investigation is going?

It's been two weeks since last update:

10/22/19: We are having an issue with our cellular communications and we are investigating. We apologize for the inconvenience.

A few of us continue to sail in the winter and this sensor can be quite helpful.

Thanks, David

Hi David,

We lost out contact person for Hs. Lordships long ago when the place closed. Last I heard we have no way of accessing the property. It really does not make sense to put too much effort into this location with its future still unknown.

We need to find another location nearby that accurately reflects the winds in the launch area. Our sensors are entirely self-contained and we do not need electricity or internet connection. Just an elevated secure pole where we can mount several thousands of dollars of electronics without it be stolen or vandalized.

What do you think about nearby light standards? Does anyone have connections with the city officials responsible for the area?

One option would be place a sensor on the breakwater at the location with the red diamond below.

We really need local help with finding a Berkeley location.
