Hi Gang,

The Baja forecasts are now live. They cover the Sea of Cortez from San Felipe to La Ventana to Los Barriles.

If you are in Baja with low bandwidth you can best access the forecast here:

http://www.iwindsurf.com/windandwhere.iws?regionID=130&Isection=Wind+Forecast

If you have faster internet you can access the forecast here:

https://wx.ikitesurf.com/proforecast/56

We now have 2 of our own sensors in the La Ventana area as well as 2 public domain sensors. You can read about their location and use in this blog:

https://blog.weatherflow.com/west-coast-wind-blog-la-ventana-baja-sur-sensors/

If you are looking for big swell and solid wind think about Baja this winter. The peak windsurfing season is December through February. For kites and foils add 2 months to the beginning and end of that period.

Hi Jota,

So far we have not installed sensors in the Los Barriles area. There are sometimes 3-4 public domain sensors there but they are frequently down and really not in great places to pick up the beach wind. Here is a link:
