Crazy welded carbon and dyneema as hi-tech as it gets. Of course its all about weight with the 5.6m just 2.7kg. I didn't even see a price. I guess if you have to ask you can't afford it. Wink

My 5.9m is 2.95 kg vs the 2.7kg = A whopping .55 of a pound.

If the construction holds up over time; are welded seams likely the future of sail construction?

Seams are not a wear problem.

Stitching on the Maui Sails and the S2Maui sails is there weak
point they tend to unravel and shed.
Do these Severnes avoid stitching?
The Maui Ghost's where a light sail with a lot of Technora.

the downside of this welding the seams technique is who
is going to be able to fix a a broken sail other than the factory?
