This is the latest news on openings as of Friday afternoon:

Representatives from WA State Parks just stated that WA State Day Use Parks in The Gorge (Portland to Maryhill) WILL NOT open next week. Until further notice, they are excluded from WA State Day-Use Parks re-opening until further notice and until they can be aligned with OR State Parks who has announced they will not open until at least May 28th.

Instead of taking up golf hunt out parking lots large enough for land sailing. The Hood River Walmart parking lot is more than large enough. At the Walmart in Cedar Falls IA there is an area (not marked) where semi trucks & RV campers tend to park that is often 90% empty. I wouldn't sail there from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. I've sailed at the one in Cedar Falls IA after 9:00 pm. Haven't land sailed at our Walmart for a couple of years because I decided I needed to add reflector tape to my land sailing boards for night sailing areas like that. I have enough lots (public schools or large churches) with less or no traffic that I don't need our Walmart lot.

Some lucky windsurfers already have mountain boards or longboard skateboards adaptable to or used for land sailing. Used 4 wheeled boards might be more available now because of our economic conditions.
