Florida man known as 'the Antifa hunter' sentenced to more than three years over racist threats

Quote:
A Florida man known as "the Antifa hunter," who launched online harassment campaigns against those who disagreed with white supremacy, was sentenced on Monday to three years and five months in prison.

A federal judge in Virginia sentenced Daniel McMahon, 32, of Brandon, Fla., after he admitted to using social media to threaten a Black activist to stop him from running for office and threatening to sexually assault a female activist's autistic daughter, The Associated Press reported.

1. After your bent and twisted screed prefacing the above comment, which is just a common example of your thoughts and opinions here, you're being far from truthful.

2. I'm still a dedicated Democrat when it coming time to vote.

3. I'm willing to bet that you vote Republican with little or no exception. No doubt, you are going to vote for Donald Trump in November, but maybe I'm getting it wrong, and you ultimately will not cast a vote for any presidential candidate.

1. My "bent and twisted screed" comes straight from the moving lips and promised changes of Biden and/or his handlers. Seen 'em make them promises myself on thu Tee Vee. I am honestly and vehemently opposed to each and every far left tenet I listed above. Each one takes our nation farther away from sanity and viability, and people who support even most, let alone all, of them scare and largely disgust me. Those things are REAL, and have broad, visceral impacts on most lives in the free world. How many people watched him take the oath of office and how many babies he eats for breakfast pale in comparison.

2. Nawww! REALLY? You should try thinking for a change, because Biden's puppetmasters come from the far, FAR leftmost extreme of today's Democratic Party, off the charts of the Democratic Party you grew up with. Do you WANT a low-end used car lot, a low-rent hi-rise, and a honky tonk bar as immediate neighbors of the home you're paying good money for? That's not screed; immediate elimination of zoning is Kamala's oft-stated goal for any and all suburbs, and it's just for starters. Thank God I live in a rural unincorporated neighborhood, where it will take the Marxists longer to declare my property title and homeowners' covenants null and void and outlaw my dinosaur-burning vehicles.

3. Pretty much true, but only after and because we look at all the realistic candidates before deciding for whom to vote. I'll be mailing in my vote for Trump the day we receive our ballots. Nothing else makes any sense because of the platforms of the opposition and Trump's superior performance ... warts, turds, tweets (aka transparency) and all.

isobars, in your earlier screed you presented decidedly opinionated information that is hardly honest, truthful, or trustworthy. There are no actual facts involved in your comments to convince any thoughtful person of your bold and ugly accusations. You're just on a big hateful rant putting down more than half of the country that think differently than you do.

Let's be honest, you live in an extreme right wing world that makes very little sense to practical folks.

Have you thought that your questionable commentary and opinions might be at the root of all difficulty you have with so many folks here on the iWindsurf forums? I've been around for a long time here, so I'm quite aware of the pushback. You have to admit, you have a long list of folks on your killfile, and that's not just limited to us folks here on the off-topic and political side of the forums.

Those investigating terrorism are well aware that right wing terrorism is a huge threat in this country. We can debate whether or not Trump has recklessly encouraged such violence. But we cannot deny the violence by right wing "militias" in Philadelphia, Portland, and Kenosha.

From the New Yorker:
Quote:

At 5 p.m. on Monday, June 1st, in Fishtown, a neighborhood in northeast Philadelphia, several dozen men—most of them white—began to cluster outside the Twenty-sixth District’s police station. They were carrying baseball bats, hammers, pipes, and golf clubs. The police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis, one week earlier, had sparked Black Lives Matter protests all over Philadelphia; unfounded rumors were circulating among residents of Fishtown, mostly via Facebook, that looters and members of Antifa were coming to the neighborhood to break store windows and wreak havoc. Justin Haskell, a neighborhood football coach and amateur mixed-martial-arts fighter who goes by the nickname Homicidal, had rallied the men outside the station, ostensibly to help the police and defend nearby business owners. The group came to be known as the Bat Boys because of the baseball bats some of them carried.

Late that afternoon, at a large rally downtown, police shot rubber bullets and cannisters of tear gas into a crowd of protesters who were kneeling with their arms above their heads, causing them to scatter. The police forced them onto an embankment, trapping them there, and continued tear-gassing them. Among those trapped were Kara Khan, a photographer, and her boyfriend, Matt Williams, both thirty-one. They eventually escaped and began biking to their home in Fishtown, trying to beat a 6 p.m. curfew, their skin still burning from the tear gas. As they rode down Girard Avenue, they saw a protester arguing with an officer outside the Twenty-sixth District station and raised their fists in support. The Bat Boys threw water bottles at them and jeered. When Khan dismounted to ask officers standing nearby for help, one of the Bat Boys pushed Williams off of his bike. Others beat and kicked him. The mob taunted Khan (whose mother is white and whose father is Burmese and Afghan), repeatedly shouting the N-word and asking her, in graphic terms, if she liked to engage in sexual acts with Black men. “They seem to be framing this story as if they were protecting the neighborhood, and they say it has nothing to do with race, when it has everything to do with race,” she told me. Khan asked the officers why they weren’t intervening. “They said, ‘Well, now you know how we feel.’ Like, ‘We’ve been dealing with protesters all week.’ ” She asked the officers to escort her home. “I live right over fucking there,” she said. But the officers refused, she told me, and said that, since she “cussed,” she needed to learn some manners.

The Bat Boys grew rowdier and more violent. As images of the men began to appear on “Fishtown Is AWESOME OLD/NEW/EVERYONE!,” a public Facebook group for locals, people went down to the precinct to see them firsthand. Thirty-six people called 911 to report “a person with a weapon.” Katherine Scholle, a social worker who lives in Fishtown, called twice. According to Scholle, a police dispatcher asked if she had a problem with the men protecting the area, and then another told her that officers didn’t have time to deal with the mob. (Several days later, after Scholle posted a video of the men, she was inundated with vitriolic comments on social media. One message read, “We here in Philly back the blue, not pieces of shit like you. May you die a slow painful death you police-hating cunt!”)

Larry Krasner, Philadelphia’s D.A., told me that he was troubled by what he saw as a double standard in the treatment of protesters by police. At the protest downtown, a cop pulled down a participant’s mask and pepper-sprayed her in the face. The Bat Boys, in contrast, were treated in a friendly manner. “How come a whole lot of people, many Black, with nothing in their hands, were arrested, while aggressive white men out after curfew endured none of that?” he asked. (Krasner’s office and the city’s Department of Internal Affairs are investigating how police handled the incident in Fishtown. A spokesperson for the police declined to comment.)

Groups like the Proud Boys have tried to instigate violence in Portland since Trump was elected, and turned out 600 trucks, many flying Trump flags, to attack protesters last Saturday.

And then there is the right wing militia who organized on Facebook and turned out in Kenosha, where two were ultimately killed.

You'll have to be more specific. I can't find the dishonest, untruthful, untrustworthy, or opinionated screed you're referring to.

Neither can you, because, as usual, it doesn't exist.

isobars, I could copy and paste your rant for you, but that would be wasting my time. You need to do your own homework.

Why is it that EVERY time one of us asks for archival proof of something we've supposedly posted, the accuser dodges or flat-out refuses to answer the question?

Actually, isobars wants me to number and list everything so that he readily deny or endlessly argue it all out item by item never acknowledging the truth. For me, that's a waste of time. His history is long here, and his bag of tricks is well known.

Everything I've said is true, and I don't think anyone, even our right wing contributors here, is going to attempt to effectively argue in favor of isobars' rant and take me to task.

I don't think anyone is eager to put on isobars' suit and play his game, but I guess we'll find out.

So my history and bag of tricks is long and well known, yet you can't offer any proof ... again. Sorry, dood, but those are your empty accusations, not my lies. If the "rant" you're referring to is my list in this thread of the goals Sanders/Biden/Harris/AOC/O'Rourke/et.al. have not only published but openly boasted and pounded the podium about, sorry, but I've posted many sources for them. Sadly, those are just a representative sample of the insane promises from their speeches, debate promises, and published platforms. If any of them worry you, you might want to look further into them. Sure, some of them, such as Obama's AFFH decree that Harris goes on and on and on about, are oversimplified in my list for brevity (the actual list is much longer and even more frightening, merely STARTING with the 110-page manifesto). But if your home is in a suburb and you don't want it to be declared part of the nearest unzoned city for tax and control purposes, you'd better examine the Biden cabal more closely.

The AFFH was ostensibly and falsely purported to promote diversity, but the burbs have long been more racially diverse than the inner cities' clustered cultures. The real reasons for the AFFH are wealth (YOURS) redistribution to save bankrupt cities and even more control over your finances and life. Don't take my word for it; Google it, and watch Harris drool over it. Trump reportedly overstated it, but Harris goes bonkers over it.

If you think I'm going to type that much for each of the items on that list, you have me confused with Mister McGrath.
