All the Trump wannabes are hoarding it and people who use for the prescribed afflictions are having a hard time getting it.
New side effects include not being able to drink from a glass of water and being unable to navigate a slow pitched ramp! |

Not at all... I just filter through the hate and bullshit spread by trump hating assholes like you... HCQ is being perscribe by thousand of doctors as we speak for C19...that's a fact nitwit.
One of the safest know drugs, villified by the left because Trump dared mention it's use could be useful... |
Wrong. The drug was not vilified. The medical staff, of which my wife is a member, stocked up on HCQ when it looked like it had merit. I listened to the educational meeting today. None of the docs there are planning on using it for any of their CV patients. The staff is at least 75% GOP.
What is dangerous is that people listen to Trump for all sorts of bad information (masks etc). He should have never jumped in the middle of recommending a drug. He is incapable of understanding the science. |

There actually may be some value. From the article I posted on “prove me wrong” thread.
Additionally, as Anna Aksenova notes, this hypothesis explains why the drug chloroquine, which is usually used to treat malaria, in preliminary trials has shown efficacy in COVID-19 treatment as well. The fact is that chloroquine affects the process of autophagy in cells. This process regulates the secretion of certain factors into the extracellular environment, including the secretion of VWF.
"I hypothesize that the level and activity of VWF might be important predictors for COVID-19 morbidity and mortality. It might also itself be involved in the disease process," said Anna Aksenova. "In order to confirm this hypothesis, it is necessary to carry out large-scale and comprehensive research into the level and activity of VWF in people infected with SARS-CoV-2, who have a mild or severe course of infection." |

OK so maybe the jury is still out but more studies over time may determine its efficacy.
She also refutes mask wearing, social distancing and says we never should have locked dow.
She advocates for return to work and return to school.
With these beliefs I find it hard not to dismiss her Hydroxy claims but there you go. |
