Hi Ben,

This link will get you a zoomable satellite imagery of the Gorge PLUS current wind readings PLUS you can click through time slots to see how all of this is developin.:

Zoom out to get the big picture. Very useful to see the cloud and wind patterns in the desert on out east days when trying to decide between The Wall and Rufus.

Incidentally, I don't know when or if the satellite imagery will come back to the ancient Classic IW. that site was hand-coded decades ago and upgrading all of its hundreds of our web pages covering the USA would be a big job.

Ventusky.com gives a pretty good coverage. I use the satellite view to show cloud cover. Satellite view shows better than the cloud cover view. Also I live on the east coast, sail on Cape Cod.
