Snowflake Cancel Culture?

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger on Monday rebuked calls from Republican US Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue to resign as both of their Senate races appear to be headed for a January runoff.

"Earlier today Senators Loeffler and Perdue called for my resignation," Raffensperger, who is also a Republican, said in a statement. "Let me start by saying that is not going to happen. The voters of Georgia hired me, and the voters will be the one to fire me."

NW30,

No doubt, Michele Obama was spot on in her comments, but I'm thinking that she's a bit too uppity for your mindset.

"In other words, we must try to get along with those liars, haters, rioters, and dividers."

Who do you think that the majority of Americans have had to put up with for the last 4 years?

While Donald Trump has been the worst of liars, you couldn't really give a crap, just like mat-ty and Bard. At least they have the good sense to back off a bit right now.

You should spend some time to regroup, abandon Donald Trump, and find a credible way forward.

Gore conceded when he probably won...for the good of the country. Something Trump knows nothing about.

In all likelihood, George W. Bush still would have won Florida and the presidency last year if either of two limited recounts -- one requested by Al Gore, the other ordered by the Florida Supreme Court -- had been completed, according to a study commissioned by The Washington Post and other news organizations.

But if Gore had found a way to trigger a statewide recount of all disputed ballots, or if the courts had required it, the result likely would have been different. An examination of uncounted ballots throughout Florida found enough where voter intent was clear to give Gore the narrowest of margins.

The study showed that if the two limited recounts had not been short-circuited -- the first by Florida county and state election officials and the second by the U.S. Supreme Court -- Bush would have held his lead over Gore, with margins ranging from 225 to 493 votes, depending on the standard. But the study also found that whether dimples are counted or a more restrictive standard is used, a statewide tally favored Gore by 60 to 171 votes.

Well after all this time that has passed since the pseudo election, I think we can all agree on who all that post election plywood covering businesses was for, and it wasn't for the Trump supporters, most of it has been, or is in the process of being taken down.
Call the Trump supporters anything you want, supposedly you have won, but it's still not good enough. That's what's pathetic.
The same goes to you mac.

I'm referring to the politicians... Specifically the two idiots in Georgia, you know--the insider traders, calling for the removal of the Sec of state, simply because the vote went against them.

Think what you want if it warms your 'nads, you always have.

So I dug into the Georgia vote for 2016, 2018, and 2020. The change is different, and obviously the upcoming runoffs will determine the leadership in the Senate.

2016

Trump 2,089,104
Clinton 1,877,963
Johnson 125,306
Others 49,072
Total 4,141,445

2018

Kemp 1,978,408
Abrams 1,923,685
Total 3,902,093

Georgia purged more than 750,000 voters in what is considered by some to the the largest effort at voter suppression in the post segregation era. Only 200,000 of those voters were found to have left the state.

2020

Biden 2,469,359
Trump 2,457,067
Jorgensen 61.999
Total 4.988,425

These numbers show the impact of voter suppression by Kemp, and the efforts of Abrams in 2020 to register more voters.

The runoff's will be challenging. Purdue got a handful more votes than Trump, despite his insider trading after the coronavirus breakout was announced to the Senate. Ossoff got about 100,000 fewer votes than Biden.

Think seriously about Georgia, the only thing worse than a two party system in a one party system. Yes we've had it before, Obama had it for two years but he squandered it, and he didn't have "the squad" breathing down his neck. Now we have the squad led by AOC fighting hard to capture both those Georgia Senate seats so she can, in her idealistic, delusional mind, have a one party system, a far left one party system, for the time being.
That is the last thing the moderate dems want, and they are starting to come out and express that, Sen. Manchin making that point perfectly clear, and he's not alone. Win Georgia, AOC becomes emboldened, along with the rest of her squad, and a real civil war breaks out w/in the dem. party. The cracks are already showing.
Be careful what you wish for.

I agree on the "be careful what you wish for" part!
It got us the last four years!
