Hey windsurfing friends
Just an FYI. The lake is again a no go for this year. The windsurfing area is a parking lot all the way to the up wind point and the water is going down. Its now at 29.4% Even the boat ramp will close soon if its not already. So sad. Want a fun place to enjoy a day on the water and see old friends...Tony |

24.8% for Isabella, and just started to go down again also. Our snow pack sits at only 62% of normal

Hey Miss Eva,
What do you think the lake level will be in May/June. Will it be good enough to enjoy a trip or two up for a few days on the water...Thanks Tony |

hey Tony: its pretty discouraging and NOT what I had envisioned for my retirement!!
We currently have about the same pityful amount of snow in our watershed as we had last year, so - barring a March-Miracle - I would expect a similar scenario: lake holding even through mid-May, then start a decline of some 15 feet or so.
At the moment, I am able to sail in our usual AuxDam venue - its pretty shallow and there are bumps, but I marked them all. Its ok. Not great, but ok. Wingdingers are limited to a smaller venue downwind, rather hemmed in by trees. Its ok, but certainly not great.
It will likely go downhill from here, so do come sooner rather than later!! |

Ouch!!! I was hoping for some in flow and rise of the water level.
When I retired and moved here, I never expected the lake to go dry. Its happened twice in 10 years and each time it lasted 3 years. Good thing I golf.
That said with out water the courses will not fare well. |
