I signed up for COTW real time reports in late March and then I was slammed to this piece of crap. I can see why the real time reports are free here - you are lucky to get any. What a joke. Bring back COTW or refund my money. |

I agree, this site stinks. COTW was much better. This site is just too cutsie. There are too many layers of junk before you get what you want (wind speed and forcasts). The forcasts are less informative, the cutsie maps are stupid. Even at T1 speeds it takes too long to load.
The site needs to be rewritten so that it is direct and fast. I can rig in the time it takes to get what I want.
Plz, keep the north & south SF Bay in the same region, people do go over the Bay Bridge. |

This is basically a me too post.
I paid up in late March, not realizing that they were going to spring this on us. I dont mind the wind info becoming free though - Mike Godseys forecasts are worth the money.
However, the new site is *so* slow. I run linux so IE is not an option. Also splitting the BA in two is crazy. I dont need the maps every time, but I do like to know if Im missing anything. |
