John here @ The Bingen School Inn with a shameless plug, With $35 private rooms for 2 or $14 hostel beds and brand new equipement rentals from $30 combined with a long list of no-wind activities in one of the most Lovely spots in the US, youll definetly want to want to drive up to take it all in. Its cheaper than even the Greek Isles though you have to drive to Rooster Rock for a topless beach...(though Jill has been known to get sassy and take her top off after her third beer down @ the Northshore) Bar

Depends on where youre driving from. Miami? Uruguay? Sydney? Heck,
no. Salt Lake City or Santa Whatever, CA ... sure. There are many motels, hotels, inns, rooms, campgrounds, and free campsites all over the place, and 86 things to do there if you get no wind. You could get 7 days or no days of wind, but you cant get bored unless your entire world depends on wind.
