I am no where near forward looping, but I do do chop hops. I recommend both curling the tips of your toes up (putting pressure on the top of the strap),trying to push your legs apart in the straps (putting pressure outward towards the nose and tail), and possibly tightening your straps although this can lead to injury. If you do wear booties they might cause your feet to slip out easier. I do not know how to loop, but I am sure different techniques of flipping could cause your feet to slip out. Anyone have any other info? I dont know if it will help at all, but there is a cool site www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Arena/9129/tricks2.html that deals with lots of common problems along with looping basics.

You may want to try the following: make sure you bear off before trying to rotate, pull your back leg up to meet your elbow, and make sure you are way, way in the straps and that they are tight. |
