Where is a good place to stay on South Padre Island for less than $100 per night? |

There are loads of places and no need to book ahead as long as you dont go spring break. A lot of windsurfers stay at the Sunset or the Sand Castle. The place is so small that location doesnt matter. None have sail in sail out except for Las Brisas condos. |

Thanks. I will check them out when I go down there 4/16 thru 4/23/01. I made a reservation at the Days Inn for $53/nite before I got you note.
The Boatyard was able to reserve gear for me while WindSurf Inc was booked and would only take on new clients if they reserved from Saturday to Saturday. My plane reservations wouldnt allow me to do that. |

I would contact Phillip Money at windsurfinc.com.
Ive sailed out of his place the last couple of years and he seems to have a handle on packages that include condos. As one other writer pointed out the place is small. It has a free bus that runs pretty frequently. We had no car the first year and it was no problem.
Avoid both Easter and Spring break.
