Hey ya,
Anybody out there ever try wave sailing with a 7.0 or larger? I used to take my 7.2 out in the waves all the time when I live in southern Cali. (115L glass board). Doing this in Hatteras would probably be a little too hairy?
Also, what kind of board did you use?

I wavesail my Screamer II with a 7.0 retro. The clew sometimes hits the wave. but its all good!!!

Get a 7.4 NP soul and a wave/freestyle board and rip it up in anything!!!

Thanks for the comments, I currently have a SeaTrend Accel 115L but am thinking of upgrading to one of those new FreeStyle boards. Some where in the range of 112L to 130L, to make up for my +200lb self. My biggest sail is a 7.3 NS. |
