I was running at Berkeley Marina today at about 3pm and - the wind was out of the west or west/southwest most of the time and white caps all over the place - got splashed on by the waves hitting the riprap at Skates - blowing at least 15! So tonite I took a look at the graph and it didnt show a thing - was the sensor down or is the page screwed up? I mean if the highs at Crissy are 55mph there HAD to be wind at Berkeley!

All-
We, the iWindsurf staff (formerly Wind Hot Line and Call of the Wind), are working 15 hour days to get ready to do our web launch of our incredible new forecast tools and hundreds of new wind sensors nationwide. Our website will be covering most of the States and Provinces on the continent within a few short weeks. We also have 4 staff members out on assignment in Texas and in Chesapeake Bay installing key new wind sensors.

Our tiny team is extraordinarily busy (as we have always been and will continue to be!), thus we do not have time to keep up with regularly reading all messages in the Community Forum. (We would love to, however.)

** If you want to contact iWindsurf staff, send us an email (support@iwindsurf.com) or call us (1-800-Windcall). These Community message boards are primarily meant for communicating with other iWindsurf members. **

Thank you,
George Haye

You guys are so busy that you had time to post this long excuse of being busy but did not answer the question - is the sensor broken? I ran into another sailor a few days ago who did indeed confirm it was broken.
-- I would have preferred a simple answer rather than a lecture on how and where to send my emails about your data or sensors. I know how long it takes for you guys to respond to a phone call or your own private email so was hoping some other sailor would provide the necessary confirmation.
And I thought this place was supposed to be a forum where any windsurfer can discuss a windsurfing topic.............................................humm, was I wrong?.......................................................Wondering why you are no longer are noting broken sensor?
