| I am just starting to windsurf, and I picked up a Fanatic Cat. Anyone know anything about this board, like when it was made and if it is good for a starter board. It is over 12 feet long... |

Fanatic Cat is a great starter board AND its even better when you are more advanced because its also a fast board when youre planing in the straps. Its a keeper! Now as to the year it is, they made them for about 10 years
between 1988-1998?? It
was called different names too Mega, Ultra, Lite, and it had different fin boxes through the years. These would be clues to which year. BTW it may be easier to take off some of the footstraps in the early stages of learning. |
