hi,
Im living near Carnac and during summer the wind is light (around 6 knt); you should take a big sail (around 6m2); the waves are small or inexistant but there are some good surprises however and you can have good conditions of waves and wind but its unusual (tomorrow the forecast says it will have 20knt of wind with around 1m50 of waves so...)
you can check www.meteo.fr to have a good forecast.

enjoy your stay in France !
