I am going to be in Maui for my honeymoon this August and want to visit Kauai. How much are flights? Any tips on getting there or while I am there? How about places to stay.

Thanks Ted

are you planning on kiting or windsurfing?

if so, you want to find a place on the north shore.

lots of places to rent gear and get accomodations. if you want a full package, contact Vela, they know how to do it right on Maui!

also there are many other places to arrange your own trip, such as:
Hi Tech
Maui Windsurf Co
Second Wind
Hawaiian Island

here is Maui International Connection for accomodations:

as for Kauai, there are similar vacation rental places. try:

I am actually not planning to do either. I want to travel light and only go for a couple of days. Do mostly sight-seeing.

Hi I go to Kauai about 5 times a year, and I kitesurf. As for renting a kite or board there. Forget it! There is one shop on the Island that sells gear and its in Princeville (north Shore)its called Backdoor but they don,t rent! But if you bring your own gear try either Tunels or Kapa,a the trades are usualy great there. ALOHA
