I used to sail up at bodega bay but have forgotten minimum tide levels for safe sailing around the yacht club. Anyone know?
I also bumped into things with my fin, thought they might be seals but was told they are skates. how about that? |

The things that you fins may thump into are bat rays. Harmless but a big one could send you on a launch. Check with Cliff Walker of WindWalker board sports at 707-823-7522 for tide info. Incidentally the Yacht Club launch is one of the best places around for developing jibing skills. Strong wind and mostly waist deep water.
