La Ventana access - kiting access ?

Going to La Ventana at the end of the month. Can someone advise which place to stay offers the best beach for beginning kiteboarder, most sand, easy access, etc. ? I was there years ago windsurfing and was by Joes. Seems good, but how does Joes compare to Kirks and the others ? Thanks for the input.

My info is a bit dated (last visit to Joes was 3/02) but Joes is the farthest downwind - they are the last place before the shoreline curves around to become a lee shore instead of side shore. Also, Joe has an ATV to fetch you with if you get too far away. Pleny of sand, great access from the equipment shed on the beach, the water gets deep pretty quickly. Enjoy your trip, I wish I was going!
