1. What to do if I'm having trouble uploading a Video to the website?

Revver hosts our videos. Most of the time there are no issues.

When you upload your video, we recommend temporarily keeping that browser window open or making a bookmark for each of your videos' URLs. The system gives you each video's specific URL / dedicated web page right after the finish of the initial upload process. You could check that URL every couple of hours (it usually takes about 2-6 hours for a video to go live on our website after Revver is done with it.) The video's URL will give you the video’s current status. And then once your video goes live, this specific URL will lead straight to your video.

Some videos fail to "encode", which means Revver could not get the video file to work with their system.

Sometimes Revver rejects a video if there is copyrighted music -- but usually they don't find any issues.

If Revver ever have problems with one of your videos, we have found that they are generally fast at responding to emails as long as you give them your video's specific URL (that URL link that is given to you by the system immediately after you initially upload the video using our website).

We also recommend bookmarking the Revver "Contact Us" page so that you can quickly reach the Revver employees if you ever need to tell them something, such as: "YES, I have been authorized to use that copyrighted music in that video, so please approve it. Thank you."

2. After following the steps listed in the first question, what if I'm still having trouble uploading a Video?

There have been a couple of reports of users' browsers hanging up at "0% Uploaded" when they tried to upload a video using our website. [This may be related to pressing "cancel" during an upload -- future uploads may not go past 0% on some systems. We hope to find a cure for this bug.]

Some other users get through the upload process to 100%, but then their browser does not show the form to fill out in order to submit it.

For now, if you are having one of these issues, we recommend instead uploading your video directly to the Revver.com website. You'll need to create a new username and password for the Revver.com website (unless you have one already), but this method is a good work-around for these website issues.

IMPORTANT!: During the video upload process on Revver.com, it is critical that you enter in one of the following TAGS / KEYWORDS in the "TAGS" section during the upload process on Revver.com:

"windsurf" or "kitesurf" or "kiteboard" or "snowkite"

*Don't enter the quote (") symbols, just the word. Example: kitesurf

Without using one of these tags, your video will not be able to show up on iWindsurf.com or iKitesurf.com.
