...showers and thunderstorms along a cold front moving toward
middle texas coastal waters...

a cold front and associated showers and thunderstorms are quickly
moving south toward the middle texas coastal waters. the cold
front is expected to move toward port oconnor and adjacent
coastal waters through late morning. the front will continue 
moving south toward port aransas then baffin bay and adjacent
southern coastal waters through early afternoon.

brief strong gusty winds can be expected as the line of storms
move across the waters. gusts will generally be around 30 knots
with some gusts up to 40 knots possible. special marine warning
may become necessary. 

waterspouts may be possible with the stronger storms.
