.a cold front will move through the coastal waters late this
morning, bringing strong northerly winds this afternoon into 
tonight. winds should begin to weaken across the laguna madre late
this evening, but may remain elevated over the gulf waters into 
thursday.

craft advisory, which is in effect from 3 pm this afternoon to
1 am cdt thursday. 

* winds...north 20 to 25 knots with gusts up to 30 knots.

* waves/seas...2 to 4 feet building to 3 to 5 feet tonight.

precautionary/preparedness actions...

a small craft advisory means that wind speeds of 20 to 33 knots
are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft.
inexperienced mariners...especially those operating smaller
vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.
