* high temperatures: 90 to 100 degrees.
* low temperatures: 55 to 65 degrees.
* duration: daytime temperatures will be a few degrees cooler on
saturday...with temperatures largely in the 80s.
* locations include: vernonia...st. helens...veneta...
longview...kelso
* impacts: do not leave children and pets unattended in
automobiles.
precautionary/preparedness actions...
take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. when
possible...reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or
evening. know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat
stroke. wear light weight and loose fitting clothing when
possible and drink plenty of water.
to reduce risk during outdoor work the occupational safety and
health administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks
in shaded or air conditioned environments. anyone overcome by
heat should be moved to a cool and shaded location. heat stroke
is an emergency...call 9 1 1.

* temperatures...highs in the upper 80s to mid 90s saturday...then
mid 80s to lower 90s on sunday. lows will be in the 50s to lower
60s.
* impacts...hot temperatures can place extra stress on the body
and possibly lead to dehydration and heat exhaustion. drink
plenty of fluids.
