the national weather service san francisco has issued a dense fog
advisory...which is in effect until 8 am pdt saturday.
* visibility: dense fog along the coastal waters will reduce
visibility from one half to one quarter mile this afternoon
through early saturday morning.
precautionary/preparedness actions...
a dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one mile. inexperienced mariners...
especially those operating smaller vessels should avoid
navigating in these conditions.
