the flood warning continues for
  the ohoopee river near reidsville.
* at 10 am monday the stage was 14.8 feet.
* flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* forecast, the river will rise to near 17.2 feet by early tuesday 
  afternoon then begin a slow fall.
* at 17.5 feet, water enters the ground level of homes in the joy 
  bluff community. the access road becomes covered with water.

the flood warning continues for
  the ocmulgee river near macon.
* until tuesday afternoon.
* at 1 pm monday the stage was 19.6 feet...and nearly steady.
* minor flooding will continue.
* flood stage is 18 feet.
* the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by late tomorrow 
* at 20 feet...minor flooding expands. an increasing amount of the 
  macon greenway ocmulgee heritage trail floods north of the martin 
  luther king boulevard bridge. the flood waters will be around one 
  foot deep on portions of the trail and both banks overflow upstream
  from the bridge. large portions of agricultural lands well 
  downstream will be under one to three feet of water.

...the flood warning is cancelled for the following rivers in 
  big creek near alpharetta affecting forsyth and fulton counties

the flood warning is cancelled for
  the big creek near alpharetta.
* this takes affect immediately.
* at 7pm sunday the stage was 6.0 feet...and steady.
* flood stage is 7.0 feet.
* the creek should remain at or below 6.5 feet the next 24 hours.
* at 6.0 feet...bankfull conditions are reached along the creek 
  between cumming in forsyth county...to alpharetta and roswell in 
  north fulton county. some low lying spots along the big creek 
  greenway will begin to flood with a few inches of water upstream 
  and downstream from the gage on kimball bridge road. water will 
  begin to enter low portions of the ymca campground off preston 
  ridge road.

  altamaha river at baxley affecting appling...tattnall...toombs and
  wayne counties 

precautionary/preparedness actions...

all persons with interest along the river should monitor the latest 
forecasts...and be prepared to take necessary precautions to protect 
life and property. do not drive cars through flooded areas. if you 
see flood waters...remember to turn around and do not drown.

  the altamaha river at baxley.
* from late tonight until further notice...or until the warning is 
* at  9:45 am monday the stage was 74.1 feet.
* minor flooding is forecast.
* flood stage is 74.5 feet.
* forecast...rise above flood stage by after midnight tonight and 
  continue to rise to near 75.0 feet by early thursday morning.
* impact...at 74.5 feet...flooding of agricultural and timber lands is
  expected. deens landing and linton carter landing boat ramps, 
  picnic areas and parking lots begin to flood.
