...winter weather advisory remains in effect until 4 pm monday for
the cascades of north oregon and lane county...

* timing...snow will turn to showers early this evening. showers
  will continue through monday.

* snow level...4500 to 5000 feet early this evening, then lowering
  to 3000 feet overnight. snow level 3000 to 3500 feet on monday.

* snow accumulations...from 6 to 14 inches, but accumulations of 3
  to 8 inches at pass level.

* impacts...roads will become snow covered above the snow level
  and cause difficult driving conditions. passes are most likely
  to be covered with snow later this morning and again late this
  evening through monday.

precautionary/preparedness actions...

a winter weather advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
