south egremont, berlin, eagle bridge, hoosick falls, stephentown,
new lebanon, pawling, wingdale, dover plains, millbrook, 
stanfordville, pine plains, amenia, stamford, bennington, 
woodford state park, pownal, stratton, londonderry, brattleboro, 
guilford center, west brattleboro, and bellows falls

...wind advisory remains in effect until 7 am est tuesday...

* locations...taconics of new york...southern green mountains of 
  vermont...berkshires of massachusetts and litchfield county 

* winds...east to northeast 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* timing...the winds will increase tonight. the winds will start
  to decrease tomorrow towards daybreak. the winds will be
  strongest across the higher elevations and in areas where the
  winds can funnel between the hills and mountains.

* impacts....downed trees and trees limbs will lead to isolated 
  to scattered power outages.

precautionary/preparedness actions...

a wind advisory means that sustained winds of 31 to 39 mph are
expected...with gusts between 46 to 57 mph. winds this strong are
capable of downing small tree limbs and branches...possibly
causing isolated power outages. driving can also be difficult...
especially for high profile vehicles. use extra caution.
