the national weather service in wilmington has issued a 

* flood warning for 
  the licking river in ohio below newark
* from this morning to monday morning.
* at 6 am the stage was 12.5 feet.
* flood stage is 14 feet.
* minor flooding is forecast.
* the river will rise above flood stage by late this morning and 
  continue to rise to near 15.1 feet by this evening. the river will 
  fall below flood stage by after midnight tonight.
* at stages near 15 feet, water is nearly one foot deep on sleepy 
  hollow road, portions of nathaniel avenue and southeast summit road.  
  additionally, water encroaches areas near caterbury trails mobile home
  community near licking view drive and forry street.

* flood warning for 
  the mad river at springfield
* from early this morning to this afternoon.
* at 1 am the stage was 9.4 feet.
* flood stage is 11 feet.
* minor flooding is forecast.
* the river will rise above flood stage by early this morning and 
  continue to rise to near 11.5 feet by this morning. the river will 
  fall below flood stage by this morning.
* at stages near 11.0 feet, west 1st street in springfield township 
  floods, including the forest lake fishing and campround area, with 
  water approaching some businesses along west 1st street.  spangler 
  road downstream of springfield also floods. flood waters approach 
  several homes to the southwest of springfield.  in addition, the mad 
  river experiences widespread flooding in champaign county near the

  mercer county in northwestern pennsylvania...
  beaver county in western pennsylvania...
  lawrence county in western pennsylvania...
  butler county in west central pennsylvania...
  hancock county in northern west virginia...

* until 1000 am est sunday.

* at 103 am est, radar indicated heavy rain in the warned area. 

  flooding...           expected.

  estimated rainfall... up to 3/4 inch.

  additional rainfall...up to 1 inch.
