hey fanntom43 - I had read about WD40
do you put it on the cloth and then rest it on the sap or just wipe with the cloth , spray directly ?

I got some sap from tree seeds on my monofilm and it is NOT wearing away
I read somewhere that someone suggested isopropyl alcohol

when that happened to me ...
I believe that I cut the batten pocket on one side near the break at 90ยบ
then was able to pull longer section out
think I never even stitched up the cut afterwards ... |
