Our friend Margaret Nold chose April 6, to be her very last day. (She is with her family in Belgium where this end of life decision is legal).
She explained that "I did not want to have to live my life until I have no life any longer and become someone who I am not".
Please take time to think of Margaret and send her love in your thoughts. She is happy and we are happy for her.

Margaret, who operated the
Avon Sail Shop NC.
I thought of her yesterday. In my travels this year I will have a shop sticker to remind me of her passing. _________________ K4 fins

Margaret really knew how to share the stoke.
She was unforgettable. We won't forget her. |

She was fantastic. It was always a treat to go into the sail shop and talk to her about anything windsurfing. Such a joy.
Rest in peace Margaret. You are and will continue to be a happy memory. _________________ Michael

i recall sailing at island creek on a day that we all thought was nuclear, and probably just an average day in her gorge experience. she came over with a 3something sail and the smallest board i had seen to that date. just calmly hooked in and blasted over the horizon. i hope that's where she is now. |

oh wow...Margaret who was always full of cheer, and repaired several sails for me out of the old Sailworld shop in the Gorge. Good thoughts! |

RIP Margaret. You were a special person and great for windsurfing. Thanks for all the positive deeds you did to keep the stoke going. Just wore the Avon Sail Shop hat the other day in Corpus Christie and was thinking of you. Peace. |
