Someone , should be from Hood River that knows, if OO is closed.
I see the web site is down, what about phone ?
I think a closing statement should be on the web site . _________________ K4 fins

Hey Gary,
I talked to Brian last year, and he was basically retiring from board making.
The real end of an era for sure. So, yep, all gone. I know a number of folks
who ordered up boards last year knowing this was going to happen.

p.s. of course Brian tried to retire about 4 years ago and came back,
so anything is possible. But I wouldn't hold my breath.

Hood River shops think that it’s closed. |

Do you ever get out to the Gorge, CdnGuy, and are you considering buying one? There are several at most Gorge swap meets. |

I still have 4 OO boards from my past in my quiver. The beauty of Brian's boards is that they all have the magic, even the older ones. |

Yep, he's out. Told me he'd probably rent his building.

I have an Oahu built OO any of you can have free if you come pick it up in SE Massachusetts. Designed for 5.2 ish opposing current, big chop (aka Gorge like). You'd have to relocate the footstraps and mast box, unless you REALLY sail old-school. No dings, nice graphics, same rocker line he was using in more recent decades. |
