Have the hotels completely ruined the wind in Aruba?
How far downwind does one have to go to get clean wind? |

| May be too late to respond, but the wind hasn't been totally ruined by the hotels. If you sail further downwind from the reef (on the Blue Highway), there is cleaner wind, but Aruba is just known for gusty, offshore winds. I wouldn't sail near the reef anyhow due to too many kiters. |
