Pulled in at noon
Glassy as hell started coming up at around 2:30
Filled in 5.7 for awhile then became a gusty 5.4
Larry and Curt showed up later.

Forebay was on Fire Saturday Evening.
4.0 and 69l quad, overpowered!! Vapor coming off the water.

Sunday was 4.0 overpowered all day and the water was smoking, literally as there was a massive smoke plume from a fire near Dinosaur Point.

Wind graph was not even close to what the conditions were!!!

What is the right size wave fin for your basic 4.7/85-95L day at San Luis?

True Ames has a "Surf Grass" model that comes in 21,22,24,26,29 cm.

24/9.5 in?

Thanks,
fxop

Fin s
A surf grass fin that is offset foward on the base if preferred
as it feel more like a regular fin . As far as sizing about the same
thing as you would normaly use for your size and weight and ability .
True Aimes use to show the base. I am looking at the Makini I believe
its the Manu. Has less of trailing edge that hangs out over end of the board
also has a offset base.
I have a 10 inch true aimes and a 8.75 true aimes I am favoring the
8.75 more lately . Looks like I might get the 23 cm makini manu.

some people have been OK with surf fins when the water is high
the weeds aren't really showing on the surface yet but if you go down
in the cove they will be all over your boom when you water start if
it gets in the water.

Conditions 7/1/2020
today started out at 1pm on 4.7 and I had to nurse and pump though
the lulls. Later it was all I could hold onto in the gusts.
5 people out mostly on 4.2 and smaller. Gusty and as windsurfed said
about the weekend iwindsurf sensor seems to be reading low as opposed
to what's going on in the middle. Got way to windy at the end of the day.
Tried the 4.2 but to gusty for that to.

Fire in Gilroy smoke at the Forebay 7/6/2020
Although there is wind there today I called and
the Rangers said there is visible smoke in the
Forebay area.(to the point where the air is not
very breathable)

That Sucks.
