I've had a Dakine T7 for a few years now. It has never not loosened up. The single strap for the bar always loosens up.

I want a harness that stays tight. Not a Dakine either. A lot missing on their site these days.

What are you using that's working good?

I could never make any of the Dakines stay in place unless it was a seat
harness.
I like the Pro Limit Team Wave both for comfort , stay in place.
And easy entry exit.
There are some ridiculously expensive carbon and other harnesses
out there now.
What works for you is going to depend a lot on your body shape.

Also you didn't specify seat or waist harness.

There are newer spreader bar attachments that do not loosen like my old dakine one would, but I believe the fit on different harness brands

I must say that it's quite telling to hear totally dedicated waist harness guys cry the blues about trying to find happiness and satisfaction. I'm glad that I never went down that expensive rabbit hole.

I been using a DaKine Speed Seat, which is an essentially bare bones low-riding seat harness that is probably close to 20 years old. I have three of them. Never had any back problems, and it doesn't ride up. It also has a fairly low hook height compared to waist harnesses. For me it's ideal design, so I've never even wanted to try an expensive waist harness.

Lastly, in cases where you are unexpectedly launched, like hitting a turtle, a huge clump of seaweed, or a plastic bag full of water, getting thrown by the seat of your pants beats getting tossed and twisted-up from the middle of your back.

Wow, another old timer!
I also use and have 3 Speed Seats. Lucky for me, the M,L, and the XL all fit. Set the legs loose for foil, tight for slalom.

I had the same minor issue with the T7. I got a really good deal on an Ion MadDox, which is definitely a step up. It's not perfect, but it's better than the Dakine. (waist harness, btw.)
