Every spring when the high water flow is ~300K or more - the swell at Rufus can be crappy or epic depending on the wind conditions.
Was anyone out there yesterday (Friday) and can give a report?
Wind looking good for today.
Current flow is 302k. |

It sucked. High current is often great for swell there IF the wind is honking, and the direction is helpful. It was way too north, so the swell was a lot of lumps with a pretty up and down wind situation. I heard stories of some lengthy swims at least at The Wall. |

Sailed the Cove on Saturday. The wind was crap but there was some fun swell. Not classic Wall swell but I think it would have been had the wind been good. The current was pretty quick, you had to ride swell to stay in place. I saw some poor winger sitting on his board half way to Maryhill on my way home. |
