So I finally, finally completed a few Gecko’s. What a cool feeling.
The Severne Psycho helped a lot!
I saw a variant in Tricktionary with a small blurb about Gecko Loops. I can’t find any videos on the web so wondering if anyone here can comment or give tips? As background, I just started high wind loop attempts end of last year but have to put aerials on hold now due to a knee injury. But I understand the concept of the loop in planing conditions. Thanks in advance

I believe you are looking for Remko de Weerd's four step loop from the 7 Sons of Freestyle video (or maybe it was Wet & Salty)

Thanks Kevin
I’ve seen Remko’s video and the wymaroo before but Tricktionary commented about sinking the leeward rail (ie opposite of the windward gecko) presumably ? to sink the nose before spinning. Just wondering if I can do a loop like that and come out in water start position in sub planing conditions as well as limit the forces on my bad knee that might happen with a planing loops.

Thanks for the link.
The Abk folks shared a video with me as well
My goal would be to come out of that spin in a water start position and go right back up. Will see how it goes
Thanks much

To waterstart out of those you'll need good entry speed. I was just recently successful at doing it and was the happiest man on the planet (at least that day!). Since then I was able to reproduce it without issue.

It's easy to do half a turn. To waterstart we need 3/4 turn because waterstarts happen downwind.
